HOW MUCH IS COUNSELLING AND COACHING?
Counselling and supervision are £40 per hour however, our fees can work on a sliding scale depending on who we are working with. This is because, where we can, we want to be able to remove any financial barrier to people receiving the support they need. Prices will also differ if you purchasing a package of some sort.

IS THERE A WAITING LIST?
For counselling, individual coaching programs and supervision, we are usually able to have a first appointment scheduled within 2 weeks.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COUNSELLING AND COACHING?
Good question!

The simple answer is that counselling will use psychological insights to help those who feel they are struggling or stuck in a particular area of their lives. Counselling clients will usually feel some sort of emotional distress and although most will still be able to function in day-to-day life, they can often feel hindered or distracted by one or more issues.
​
Counselling sessions may take the time to look back at clients experiences and allow them time to process the thoughts and feelings associated with what may have happened or whatever has bought them to therapy. Counselling will also work with the hear and now experiences of clients and consider ways of moving forward that equip clients with insights and strategies that help them to carry on with their lives, less affected by what was causing their initial distress.

Counselling can also be good for people that notice certain themes or patterns about themselves and they want to explore more in a confidential environment.

Our Coaching Programs are similar in that they use only trained therapists to facilitate them. Apart from that they are different.
​
One main difference is that our coaching has a focus on change and achieving goals. As you browse through the different programs available you will notice that they all have a development area in mind and the delivery of these programs are designed to equip you with what you need to succeed in that area. The programs will also provide you with some of the key elements needed to inspire and encourage you as well as challenge you and keep you accountable on your way.

Coaching does give you space to reflect on your past experiences as they relate to your goal, but challenging limiting beliefs, changing perspective and committed action are all part of what it takes to bring about change and self development.

These programs recognise that all of us have great potential but sometimes we just need a hand in reaching it, or at least taking the next steps.
